Here is to the hot days of summer we had and changes of fall. Today in Apex was a comfortable 81 degrees .

The list of things to be thankful for are infinite. So be sure to concentrate on that and make the choice to be HAPPY!
Emergency and everyday challenges one should have a contact for.
One of the many things if you are living in your own home is an up to date list
Plumbing licensed and insured
Tree company with current insurance
landscaper if you are not so inclined.
Electrician licensed and insured.
You should also have the local numbers to your gas, electric and water suppliers

Power went out sometime between 3 and 4 PM on the 15th of August. Trees are down all over Durham along with almost all traffic signals out. To be noted the businesses across from South Square are with out power although during hurricane Fran they did still have power.
